Staelie

Just had to share. I do not have picture but boy do I wish that I did. Staelie scored her 1st goal on Saturday at her soccer game. We were so excited for her. I am not sure that at the time she had a clue what had just happened. She just wanted to throw the ball back into play. She was so funny who cares about a goal when you can throw the ball in. She is so fun to watch. She runs and runs and stays with the ball is not always sure she wants to kick it. Ha Ha at least she has a great time.

Dirt and a Hat

Stockden is quite the kid, I know that I say it a lot but my word it is true. Here are just a couple of pictures of him being him. We had gone up the mountain to the cabin for 3rd Sunday dinner and he had a great time playing in the dirt with his bike, my sisters dog Gator, and my cousins little boy. He was so dirty. He loved every min of it. On the way home he decided that he needed a hat to go with all the dirt.

Soccer, Soccer, Soccer and one heck of a Sun Burn

The girls soccer season kicked off on Saturday and boy did it kick off. We had 4 games that day and not one of them was at the same time. We enjoyed soccer from 8:\45 in the morning until after 4:00 in the afternoon. Well me being the bright person that I am forgot to wear sunblock and I am still paying for it days later. My chest is so burnt it is almost a purple color. I have blisters and a ton of soreness. I have had cold baths and showers, ice, wet rags, aloe, and vinegar and nothing has completely taken the sting out. My skin is so tight that it hurts to lay down. It was quite funny on my legs, I was wearing a pair of carpi's so I look like I have bright red socks on. Oh well I can almost guarantee I wont forget again.

Jentrie was the 1st one to play and her uniform is the royal blue color I think the team name is the Smurfs. Staelie was next and hers is a green color and they are the butterflies. McKalls comp team was next and the Hotshots did great a 5-0 WIN. Sorry have to brag after the rough season they had last year. McKalls AYSO team was up last and she is a light blue and they are the bullets. All the girls did really well  they all played hard and did their best. Staelie is still trying to get it all down and just goes out and has a really great time. Jentries loves to help the coach I think more than actually playing. One year when she was playing soccer her coach went around and asked all the girls what position they wanted to play and Jents answer was Coach!!! McKall loves soccer but she does take it pretty serious it was fun to watch her relax a little bit and enjoy the game. By the end of the 2nd game she could hardly walk. She loves it CRAZY!!!!

Canyon View Pride

School starting + Friday nights = Football game. McKall went over to the Canyon View Football game and had a blast. She made me take a picture of her sporting a little CVHS pride. We are able to watch the whole game from the backyard. It is crazy. I sat on the trampoline and watched a little high school football.

1st Day of School

School has finally started and the kids were so excited to go back. Stockden not so much. On the 1st day it was about 10:00 am and he wanted me to go pick up his girls. He did not think that I was too fun. We have tried to find things to do. We have made play dough and he has loved this. He makes all kinds of things with the play dough. Well back to what we were suppose to be talking about SCHOOL!!!!. McKall is a 7th grader this year. Oh My Word. We went to back to school night for her the day before school started. We walked around and found all of her classes so she would not have a problem on the 1st day. Jentrie is in 5th grade and way excited to be the oldest in the school. She did not get to meet her teacher at back to school night, because her teachers son had been in an accident and she was not able to be at the school. Jentrie did meet her on the 1st day and she really likes her. Staelie was so excited and nervous, she had met her teacher at back to school night and she really likes her. She is nervous about not knowing the kids in her class. Well after school she was all smiles, she loved school and even the bus ride. Just Thinking

I am sitting at work and was just thinking about what a character Stockden is. We went and played at the park the other day and he ended up leaving his boots there by mistake. We are home getting ready for bed when he comes up and tells me he wants his boots and that they are at the park. We jump in the car and head up there and NO BOOTS. We looked everywhere. He put his hand over his eyes and starts sobbing that his boots were gone. Someone had stolen his boots. McKall tells him that if Mom or Dad wont buy you new boots then I will and he turns and looks at her and says No Ashee will buy me new boots. So I guess my poor sister is in charge of fixing his broken heart.

When Jose and I both work graveyards Stockden goes to my moms and he always wants to make sure they have sausage. He is very persistent about it. Well he is telling me what he did at Grandmas yesterday and out of the blue is gets upset and says Grandpa says I live in Cedar City and I don't. I start laughing and try to tell him that in fact he does live in Cedar City but he is insistent that he lives in a house. So I try to tell him that the house is in Cedar City he wanted none of that so thanks Dad for opening a big can of worms!! HA HA

My kids are getting ready to go back to school and I am having mixed feelings. I am so excited for them and a schedule again but I am going to miss them like crazy at the same time. I don't love sharing my kids with the world and on the other hand after a long day of whining and fighting I am ready for them to go. I guess it is the joy of parenting. My kids are just growing up so fast and I  want time to slow down but at the same time they are such amazing talented people I love to watch them turn into the people they are and cant wait to see whats next. I  know I know it seems like I am never happy want the best of both worlds sometimes I guess.

Soccer season is upon us and I am excited. All of the girls are playing AYSO and then McKall is also playing competition. All 3 girls have their first game on Saturday. A day at the soccer fields seems like just what we need. I will have to post pictures, hopefully I will remember to take them.

Summer Days

As summer vacation come to an end this is how we spend the last few days. The kids loved it. McKall could not decide if she was too cool to join in. Once she did she had a great time. Stockden on the other hand loved it. He loved being with the girls and playing in the water. They raced pine cones, chased their flip flops and just had a great time in the water.

Something so simple kept them entertained for hours. The only problem we had was Stockden didn't look when he would go on the trail and walked in front of a couple bikes. OOPS!!! School starts tomorrow and I have excited but nervous kids. We went to Back to School night yesterday for Jentrie and Staelie and tonight it is McKalls turn.
