Puppies, Puppies and more Puppies

Jose's dog Roxie had puppies about 8 weeks ago. She had 7 puppies. We are now down to 5 and they are able to be at the house in the garage. Stockden would have killed them had they been here earlier. When they were tiny he would try to hold them and then just drop them when he was done if you weren't paying attention. New puppies and a 2 year old was not a good mix. They puppies are now bigger and able to survive Stockden. They are so cute. They nip and your feet and Stockden yells they are trying to take my pants. He loves them, there was a bigger black one that Stockden decided was his favorite and named Mack. He tried to pack Mack everywhere. Poor Mack was not always right side up. The girls love them and want to keep all of them. They have named them and love going out back and playing and taking care of them. Today we got homes for 2 of them and now only have 3. The kids are sad to see them go but happy they have good homes. Mack was one of the puppies that got a new home. We decided to name the puppy that Jose is keeping Mack for Stockden. McKall was showing Stockden that we had a new Mack. She was telling him that this dogs name was Mack. He says that not Mack I not know where Mack is that not Mack. He was so funny. He is not a stupid kid. No fooling him. Here are some pictures of the puppies and the kids.

Easter

I totally forgot to take pictures. So sorry no pictures I know I cant believe I did that. The kids were so excited. We kept Easter pretty low key as I have not been feeling good and McKall hasn't felt well either. They got their Easter baskets this morning and were so excited. We then did a egg hunt in the afternoon. Stockden was so funny. There was candy that wouldn't fit in eggs and he wanted nothing to do with anything that wasn't in an egg. He loved gathering the eggs. He called Jose (he is out of town again in Texas) to tell him about it and gets on the phone and says Dad its Christmas. He is so funny. He got a car set that he kept calling his car box. He kept asking for his car box and I kept telling him that it was for Easter, he would get mad and say no its not for Easter its for me. He was not understanding. He is too funny. Jentrie ended up with the most candy from the egg hunt and was so good to share with her sisters. McKall and Jentrie both got new swimming suits for Easter and Staelie got a new outfit. Staelie got a new swimming suit from my sister for her birthday. We had a nice relaxing afternoon. Everyone took a nap except for Jentrie. It felt so good.  I am so thankful for the Easter season and what it celebrates our Savior. I am grateful for the Savior in my life and everything that he sacrificed for me.

Jose is in Texas for Easter. Lucky him. He did not want to have to go but that is just how life works sometimes. He was telling me about his Easter and I think he really got the best experience of Easter and I am so proud of the wonderful gracious and selfless person that he is. He had stopped at a truck stop to stretch his legs. There was a family that was trying to sell a radio to get gas money. Jose ended up talking to the gentleman. They were moving from California to Texas and were about 60 miles from their destination when they ran out of gas. The mans aunt was willing to drive down to get them but he wanted to try to raise the money himself 1st. Jose gave him $20.00 and told him to keep the radio. The man acted almost offended he turned to Jose and said I am not looking for a handout I want to pay my own way. Jose was so amazed that this man wanted to take care of his family instead of taking a handout. Jose then went in the store as he was walking in there was a lady asking for change to get a drink. She is standing there with a little girl. Jose hurries and gives her some money and heads to the bathroom. When he comes out their is the lady paying for her drink. The little girl was about Staelies age and he just couldn't help it he walks up to the little girl and tells her it is Easter and that she should have a treat for Easter. He lets her pick out some candies and he pays for it and tells her Happy Easter. He said the smile on her face was so amazing. When he went back outside. The lady and the little girl ended up being the wife and daughter of the man he had helped earlier. He said that was the best feeling. Being able to serve someone that was in need. Makes me sure appreciate what a nice situation I have and the amazing people in my life.

Family Party Finally!!!

Wow!! This has been a birthday week for sure. If we were not having parties we were getting ready for them. Now that Staelies birthday is officially over I guess we will think about getting ready for Jentries that it next month.

On Saturday my family came up for a final day of birthday celebrating. My mom, dad. grandma, uncle Ron, sisters Kati, Ashlee, Kacee and bro in law Sam we all able to come. We had pizza from 5 buck pizza and then did cake and ice cream. We had these sparkler type candles for the cake and Stockden loved them he kept trying to blow them out. It was quite the chore to get them all lit before he could blow them out. Yes we had 2 cakes. Staelies one request every year is that she wants her own little cake so this is what we have done. She cracks me up with her requests.Staelie opened her presents and we sat around visiting. My mom decided to do the game Heavy Heavy Hang over thy poor Head. Poor Staelie she was not sure what to think of the game and it took quite awhile before she would play. She did wish my sister Kati a new purple car, my mom and dad a million dollars and Sam and Kacee a hundred dollars. She is too cute. In the pictures you can see my mom trying to convince her to play and her with a are you crazy look on her face. This party was pretty low key but loads of fun. Thanks for coming we really appreciate it, I don't know what happened but my kids were bouncing off the walls. Stockden was so silly. I think by the time every one left every one was ready for bed. He was running around like crazy and then just saying crazy things. Staelie asks for the funniest things for her birthday, she told my sister Ashlee that all she ever wanted was a snuggie a sponge bob snuggie so my sister got her one and she was beyond thrilled. She has worn it a ton since yesterday. It is so funny to see her in it it is so big on her. Here are pictures of  her family party.

Staelie is too funny with the snuggie got to love it. Well here are some pictures of Stockdens hair cut. I know he is wearing a hat in one but because of the hair cut the hat actually fits again. He also has a fishy face in one I told him to say cheese and that is what I got.

Stockdens Hair Cut

Well since today was Staelie's friend party I wasn't sure what to do with Stockden. I did not think that he would like hanging out at the Beauty College for too long. It just so happens that boy was in desperate need of a hair cut. So we had it arranged to get his hair cut while the girls were getting their special treatments. As many of you know that kid has hair that it unreal. It is so thick and grows so fast. My mom took him to get a hair cut less than a month ago and he has needed one for over a week. He had the cutest girl named Kenzie that cut his hair. He kept flirting with her. She was so good with him she let him have a comb so he could help. In the time that it took for all 4 girls to get their hair and nails done is the time it took for one little boy to get a hair cut. He just had so much. It was unreal the amount she cut off. Here are some pictures of him and his hair cut.

I will have to post a picture tomorrow of the finished product. He sure looks handsome. He loves the yellow cape. My cute cousin Bailey has been the one to cut his hair and she had a pink one that he didnt love. Too funny. Bailey did such a great job and he loves her but she moved to Wyoming. Sure do miss her.

Friend Party

Today was Staelie's 1st friend party. I know I know it sounds so bad that she is 7 and this is the 1st friend party but it is and she had a blast. We invited Synara, Sadie, and Makayla to her party. We had it at Evans Beauty College. The girls got their hair styled and their nails painted. They loved it. Here are pictures of them waiting for their turn and then getting their hair and nails done. Sorry this post has a ton of pictures.

They all looked so beautiful. They loved having their hair curled. I think the nails getting painted was actually the winner. They were so funny trying to decide what color to get. Synara was so funny she was wanting to match her dress and couldn't find the right color. So I had to remind her she wouldn't be wearing the dress tomorrow. So she decided on blue cause she would wear blue tomorrow. They loved watching each other and talking about what they were each getting. They all got along perfectly. Such cute fun girls. After the trip to Evans we headed home to have cake and ice cream. I had made cupcakes, I colored icing purple, pink  and blue. I had chocolate icing and every kind of sprinkles. There was also candy. I gave them each a knife and let them decorate their own cupcake. They loved it. They wanted to decorate as many as they could. They didn't even care about eating them. They were showing each other what they had done. They created some fabulous cupcakes. After cupcakes and ice cream.  It was time for presents. Staelie has some really thoughtful friends. She got some great stuff. Thanks for all that came, you helped make it a wonderful day. Here are the pictures of them getting ready to decorate and opening gifts.

Happy Birthday again to my Staelie. Hope you had a fabulous birthday with your great friends. Tomorrow is the family party with my family since Jose is out of town. This has been a birthday week. Oh well you only turn 7 once.
