McKalls a First Year!!!!

McKall was able to attend girls camp for the first time!!! I was way more excited about it then she was. She was so nervous. She tried to get me to let her stay home. She imagined every possibility, what if no one sits by me, what is I get lost, what if what if what if. My mom and I did the best we could to try to convince her that everything would be fine and she would have a wonderful time. McKall  has a hard time going anywhere, she gets so upset/excited to go that once she gets there she is just fine. She left for camp on Tues July 26th and came home July 29th. On the morning they were leaving it rained and rained. They had to delay the leaving time by over an hour and some wards in the stake did not leave until the next day. I dropped her off at the church and when I went to leave she kept asking me if I was sure I had to go. Then when I took her picture a was sure some vomiting was going to take place.

She was so funny. When I picked her up on Friday there were tears that it was over and she wasn't ready yet. She loved the girls and the leaders. They all took such good care of her. Thank you so much!!! She loved Snipe hunting with Marissa B. She bore her testimony at the testimony meeting, she loved making the crafts and performing the skit, then she loved being able to start a fire and she loved it all even with the rain and mud. I do not think that there was one thing that she didn't like. She talked and talked, she told Jose it was Girls camp so he would not understand. Ha ha!! In the after pictures she looks so much more relaxed.

She wore those crazy glasses from the skit and the bandanna all day long.  She wore them in the store and to the Eye Dr. She was crazy. She was more than ready to have a shower though!!!!

Stockden Stockden Stockden

Well after that title there really in not a whole lot more to say. That boy sure keeps up on our toes. He is such a fun little thing though. He went in on the 21st of July for his 3 year old check up. I know it seems way late but the Dr's office was just really booked and that is when they could get us in and I did call before his birthday. He was so good. He got right on the scale and stood there just like he was suppose to. Stockden has had a huge issue with the standing scale in the past. He would cry and throw a fit that they would finally just have to put him in the baby scale. This time he did it. Hooray!!! He is a big boy, he weighs 37lbs and is almost as tall as Staelie. He is growing right where he should be and the Dr was very pleased.

He is crazy notice the shoes are off. Those things are off the second he can. The thing that's so funny is if he is wearing his boots they never come off.
Stockden got to go camping with Jose for almost a week he was able to ride horses 4 wheelers, fish and sleep in a tent. He loves camping. Jose went with his brothers ward for a scouting outing. They both had a great time. Jose and Stockden both caught their 1st fish. Jose BBQ'd when he got home and said it was GREAT!!!

My sweet little cowboy fell asleep on the ride!!!!

Here are some pictures of what a normal day with Stockden!!!! He is quite the kid!!! Loves to be creative.

Bribes

Just thought I would post this just because. I took Stockden and Staelie to Wal Mart the other day. I hate taking kids to Wal Mart in the summer there is just so many people and it seems to take forever. Well as we started on our short trip turned long I told Staelie and Stockden that they would ride the Merry go Round if they would be good through the store. So they were good and got to ride. They were both so funny just had to share some pictures!!!

I decided to try the Bountiful Baskets that I had been hearing so much about. The girls at my work in St George LOVE them. I got brave and jumped on the band wagon and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Well the morning I was set to go it  Jose and the girls had gone to Mesquite so it was just Stockden and me. I got to the pick up stop in plenty of time and what do you know the truck is late. Well I told Stockden if he could be good and help me we would go get a drink when we were done. We had to wait 25 min and it was over 30 mins before we were through. He was excellent. He loved putting the fruit and veggies into the basket. Here are some pictures of him after we picked up our veggie and fruit he had an Icee and donut for breakfast!!!!

July Jamboree!!!!

So the July Jamboree was last weekend and we couldn't wait to go. We all love going over and spending a good part of the afternoon. For those of you that do not know what the July Jamboree is, it is where they block off part of Main Street in Cedar City and displayed are old and sometimes new cars that are all done up. They have tons of different vendors to stop and see also. They have a stage set up in one of the parking lots where they have live music. McKalls orthodontist performs every year. It is just a really great time. We love seeing the old cars.It was fun this year because our neighbor across the street Basil had 2 of his cars entered.

They had a game there where if you shot the basketball into the bucket you got to keep the ball, this is the kids in line

This is Jose grabbing for the Cars 2 shirt. He did get it.

Throwing Rocks!!!

Oh my word has it been forever since I updated. Well life has been a little crazy at our house but I guess what is new!!! Stockden had to learn an important lesson resently. NO THROWING ROCKS AT MOMS CAR!!!!
Jose, Stockden and Staelie were all outside one afternoon. I was in the house getting things done when Jose came in and said your son is mad at me he got it trouble for throwing rocks at your car. I said good for you dont let him do that. The end or so we thought. Later we went to go get in the car to go to town, I opened the back door for Staelie to get in and the whole back seat was covered in glass. I said to Jose what broke in hear? As I am asking the question I look up and the whole back windshield is gone shattered. At the back of the seats covered in glass was one lonely little rock. Needless to say a expensive lesson learned. The guy that installed the windshield was laughing and told Jose to make sure if Stockden was going to throw rocks to throw at the front windshield it is about half the price!!!
