Halloween Carnival

My elementary school girls had their Halloween carnival on Friday. McKall had gone to St. George with my dad for a soccer game at Pine View. Stockden had spent the day with my mom and sisters in St. George so it was just me and the 2 girls. We headed over to the carnival for some fun. We really did have a good time. Jentrie dressed up as a clown and Staelie was a unicorn. They played the book walk and they both won a book. They did pumpkin bowling, vampire ring toss, golfing, shooting, plunko, ski ball, and the fish pond. They had such a great time. When they were out of tickets they were ready to go. It was perfect. We then headed down to Arbys for some dinner just the 3 of us.

Andres, Sarah and the boys were able to make it to McKall's soccer game. She was so thrilled. She was on cloud nine all night. She was still so excited when I walked to her later. Stockden wanted to go down to Andres's house and was so mad that he was not able to. He kept telling my dad that I still mad at you. The next morning he was still mad. He is so funny. He is having his first sleepover at my sisters Kacees house I wish them the best of luck.

Here are some quotes I have be looking at that have helped me out lately.

Choir

McKall had her 1st choir concert of the year on Thursday. It was great. They started on time, they moved forward, sang some really great Halloween songs and it ended 30 mins early!!! Hooray!!!! What more could you ask for. They sang and danced to Thriller which was really cute. Her choir teacher seems like a really fun lady and works very hard to make it a fun experience for the kids and the parents.

McKalls Birthday!!!!

For McKalls birthday we kept it pretty low key which she was just fine with. She is such a funny girl. She told my Uncle Ron that a birthday cake was just a pastry with icing. So for her birthday breakfast I went and got her a donut (her favorite donut) and had them write Happy Birthday McKall on it. She thought it was great when she saw it.

We made her a fun candy bar poster. Her and her sisters made one for Jose one year for his birthday and they had such a great time doing it I thought she would love having it done for her. She sure did. It is hung up on her wall in her room.

She then headed off to school. Her friends made sure she was sang to in every class. She loved that. After school we had gotten her the famous birthday balloons. It is just not a birthday with out them. When I was growing up my mom would get us balloons for our birthday and have them tied to our chair waiting for when we got home. I loved this and have past it on to my kids that also love it. So thank you mom!!! We opened gifts and then off to soccer practice she went. Don't worry they made sure to sing to her there too.

After soccer we headed to dinner with my family. Off to Applebees we went. She LOVES LOVES LOVES to be sang too. It does not matter where we go as long as they sing. She gets the best look on her face while it happens its so fun to watch her. My Mom and Kacee got off work late so they just met us back at the house to open presents. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a special day for an extra special girl!!!!

Here are some fun pictures of McKall growing up that I stole from my sisters blog.

Oh My Guess Who's A Teenager!!!

Happy Happy Birthday to my beautiful McKall!!!! She is officially a teenager, I am not quite sure how this all happened but she is thrilled none the less to finally be 13!!!! McKall was born October 12th at 2032. We had waited all day for her to arrive. I had gone into the hospital at 7:00 am and she just was content to stay put. She weighted 7lb 3oz she did not have a lot of hair. She really didn't have very much hair for the first 2 years of her life. She cut her own hair one day a huge chunk right off the side. We had to take her to have it fixed and every since then she has had lots of gorgeous hair.
McKall has been spoiled rotten from the get go. We use to have to set the timer for my sisters when they held her because they would fight over who's turn it was. Ashlee was the biggest baby hog!!! McKall is a sweet, amazing, talented, responsible, smart, helpful, spiritual, beautiful young lady. I am so proud to be her mom. She is always so sweet to remember to say thank you for something someone has done for her. She is always making sure you know how much she loves you. I work nights and she is always so wonderful to help where ever she can. She is quite the dancer and soccer player. She puts in a lot of time and energy with these activities and it is fun to watch her succeed.

Party

I have the sweetest most caring loving little girl. She had noticed that life has been a little bit rocky and crazy lately and that I have been struggling with all of it. Well she decided I needed a party to show how much I was loved. She went to my mom and sisters and planned this whole Cheer Day party behind my back. She sent out invitations, had a program, made a sign and planned food. I cant believe she did all of this. She made a book with will pictures and notes from her and her siblings. She had another book that my sisters, mom and kids wrote really nice things about me. She just went above and beyond. I guess she has been planning this for a few weeks and every time they would get together they would work on it. She had a whole notebook that she had planned it all out. It was probably the sweetest nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. She had my dad get my out of the house so she could set up. She got the other kids is the shower and dressed in nice clothes. On the invitations she put dresses or date night clothing. Ha ha. On my grandmas she put bring a box of pizza or macaroni and cheese. McKall loves my grandmas mac and cheese. What a character. She was going to ask me to cook for the party with out me knowing that is what I was doing but my sisters told her I could not cook for my own party.

Thank you McKall I really appreciate it. You are just too sweet and I love you. Thanks to my family for helping her with all of this. Love you too!!!

Walking

Jentrie, Staelie, Stockden and I took a walk the other day down to Grandma Cardons to take her some soup. The kids loved it. We stopped at a new shop on the way there and sang songs on the way home. Just some fun pictures of our walk.
