26.2

On October 1st brought again Marathon Saturday. This year just my mom and sister Kati were running. Kati was hoping to push herself and see what kind of time she could get. She was able to run the whole 26.2 in 4 hours and 27 min. My mom ran it in 5 hours 2 mins. They both did such a great job. They make it look so easy and look so great at the end. It is so amazing to watch the Marathon and I feel such pride for my mom and sister being able to run this. The time and dedication that they put in to getting ready is so amazing. I love watching the runners and try to pick them out. I love the smiles on their faces when they see you cheering for them. I am so grateful to be able to share this with them even if it is from the side lines Congratulations Lady's!!!!1

It was a tough day to run it was so hot and muggy. It was amazing to see so many runners still finish but there were sure a lot that were not able to. They had so many runners that were having to be helped across the finish line.

After spending the morning at the marathon in the heat poor McKall had a soccer game at Desert Hills. The poor little thing ended up with heat exhaustion. She came off the field and was crying saying she didn't feel good. We got to the car and she was trying not to throw up. We ended up packing her in ice and dumping water on her to try to cool her down. She has such good coaches. Both Johnny and Ryan were right there trying to help her. The other teams coach was helping too.We are so blessed to have so many great people in our lives.
