Oh My Heavens Look Whos 7

7 years ago at 11:12 pm this beautiful blond little girl joined our family and life just continued to get better.
Staelie turned the big 7 today!!! She was so excited. She could hardly wait for this day to come. Before she went to school she got to open a few gifts, of course new clothes. Here are some pictures of her before school.

We made her purple rice krispie treats for breakfast. She is having a party with her friends tomorrow and having cupcakes and a family party on Saturday with cake. I thought she would like a treat for her real birthday so we made rice krispies in her favorite color. We then took donuts to her class at school for her to share. She got to be queen bee of her class for the day. Her teacher gives them a crown that says Happy Birthday that they get to wear all day. Here are some pictures of her wearing it after school.

After school she got to open the rest of her gifts. She got a new Wii game Just Dance Kids, new lip gloss, earrings and fingernails. Here are some pictures of her opening her gifts. McKall is in the pictures with her and every time I went to take a picture McKall did something funny so don't mind the pictures of her. When McKall saw them she laughed and wanted them on the blog. I think out of all of them I got one good one of her. Its a good thing these are Staelies pictures.

When the gifts were opened we still had a busy day ahead. Jentrie had piano, Staelies friend Synara came with us. We went to the park while waiting for piano to get over. After piano it was off to baseball for Jentrie. While she was at baseball we headed to WalMart to finish getting the last min things for her party tomorrow. We then picked up Jentrie and the poor girl had dance. We dropped her off at dance and headed to Apple Bees to have dinner with my dad and sister Ashlee. Staelie loves Apple Bees because they sing to you for your birthday. So they sang to her and brought her ice cream. That made her day. Here are some pictures actually quite a few pictures of Staelie, Synara, Stockden, McKall, my dad, Ashlee and me at dinner.

I think overall it was a pretty great birthday. We are so lucky to have Staelie in our family. She is such a sweet girl. She loves to write and color. She loves animals all kinds. She is always checking out different animal books from the library. She had a poisonous animals book this week. She loves to play dress up, outside, dolls, trucks, in the dirt, soccer and swim. She is quite the fish she loves the water but has no fear. She is shy and friendly at the same time. She is a great helper, she can entertain herself but loves to play with others. She is my easiest to please and mellowest kid. I think the lord knew I would need her before Stockden came. She is a great big and little sister and loves her family. I love you Staelie and am so lucky and proud to be your mom!! Happy Birthday!!!

Lazy Day

So today was just one of those days that not a lot got accomplished. Oh well its nice to have them. McKall had a soccer game at 1:30 but it got cancelled due to weather. For anyone who's kids our themselves play soccer know that this is a freak of nature thing.(at least for traveling soccer)
They do not cancel soccer for anything. In St. George for her 1st game it rained the entire time we were there it had also rained all day long. 1 1/2 hours in the cold and rain those poor girls played. Their games in Cedar have been played in the snow and horrible wind where the parents watch from the car so I was shocked that they didn't play today. Not that I was not tremendously relieved but shocked none the less. We spent the day doing a little cleaning and alot of laundry folding. I don't mind the washing and drying of the laundry I really hate the folding. Oh well it got done. I then took the girls swimming and got Staelie signed up for machine pitch softball and all 3 girls for soccer. Soccer doesn't even start until August they are just having sign ups super early this year. I can at least check it off my list. We ran a few errands after swimming and stopped and picked up Wendy's. Nothing fancy. We ate at home and while the girls were eating Stockden decided he wanted to dance. He wanted his cowboy music on. It cracks me up because he considers Shinedown cowboy music. He turned it on and danced away. He has to have it really loud. The girls and I were laughing our heads off. He would get on his 4 wheeler and jump it is beat to the music. He is quite the dancer too it kind of looks like a seizure sometimes and he does all this while trying to sing along. I did get it on video on my phone and will have to try to get it put on. Too funny. It was nice to just hang around the house, get a few things accomplished and really just enjoy the kids. They are so funny to listen to and just be around.

Beautiful Girls

Just thought I would post some pictures of McKall and Jentrie. They had their dance pictures yesterday. We went to Evans Beauty College and got their hair done. They both looked so beautiful. It took forever. They both had 2 people curling their hair. Both of the girls had curling irons and it still took over an hour. That is why I like to pay them to do it. The school did a great job. McKalls bangs are twisted into her hair and it looked like a rope it was too cool I have got to learn how to do that. I will post their actual dance pictures when I get them, but here are pictures of my beautiful girls. (Staelie doesn't dance so no pictures of her but she is a beautiful girl too).

Staelie is so excited for her birthday she can hardly standing it. We have a daily countdown (multiple time a day) on how many days until her birthday. She will be 7 and cant wait. We talk about what we will bring to school for her to share, family party, and friend party. She cant make up her mind what she wants, it so fun to listen to her. Will have to post pictures of her party. She is still loving school and is getting signed up to play machine pitch softball and soccer. She is so excited.

Stockden is still Stockden so full of it. He is in love with my mom and sister Kacee. Out of the blue today he decided he wanted to go to Kacees house. He kept talking about it forever. He just loves her (and her dog Gator). Every time he talks to my mom on the phone he tells her I goes to yous house. He got to stay with her the other night when I worked. She was in bed  he came in and told her that he was tired, she told him to get in bed. She thought that he would get in bed with her but he turned and climbed into his playpen. He then was quiet for awhile, she thought he had gone to sleep. He then said Grandma she said yes Stockden he said you have sausages and she told him yes he then said OK night. He is too funny he always has to eat sausages at her house.
Just a little bit of whats going on. Until next time.

Headache

Poor Stockden, being the busy boy that he is I am surprised that these type of things don't happen more often. He was outside playing, climbing off Jose's trailer (a car trailer) and he cut his head. Staelie was outside with him  and she starts screaming for McKall. I go to see what it going on and she tells me Stockden is bleeding. Staelie is hysterical and Stockden looks kind of stunned. He tells me his head hurts. We get it cleaned up with some triple antibiotics on it and away he went. He was right back to running all over the front yard. When I asked if he was OK he would just say he had a headache. He is such a brave funny kid.  I took some pictures of his cut but he was too busy trying to watch Scooby so they are not the best.

When his sisters start getting after him he has started saying to them yous not my mom. I just laugh. McKall will say Stockden stop and he will turn to her and say Kallie yous not my mom. It makes them so mad and I just laugh and ask them where he learned it from. He is growing up so fast. Jose's dog Roxy had puppies and he thinks he is so big and can hold them. The poor things usually get held upside down.

Stockden

This little boy is too funny. He sure knows how to keep us all on our toes. Today he was having a Popsicle. I told him he could either eat it in the house or in the backyard. He informed me that he could not eat it in the backyard it was too dangerous. I just laughed. He had fallen down earlier and scraped his cheek so I guess that was what made it dangerous. Its so fun to hear all the new words he is learning.
He decided today that he wanted to eat his lunch outside. I took some pictures with my phone because he just looked too cute.

Next Door Neighbors

I have the cutest, nicest, friendliest, next door neighbors ever. Thora and Bob and wonderful patient people and I am so happy to have them next door. They are older folks and have tons of kids, grand kids, and great grand kids that come to visit and they still love to see my kids. I was getting Stockden from out front today when Thora was getting her mail so she came over to visit. During the course of our conversation she tells me that the other day Stockden came over to her house, opened the front door and came in. Thora told him it was fine to come in he just couldn't bring the dog in. I guess that did not sit well with Stockden so he left. The next thing she knows he has gone around the side of her house and in the kitchen door. What a stinker. The dog could still not come in so he went home. I was horrified. I couldn't believe that he had just walked in her house and that we hadn't known. She just laughed and said he was more than welcome to come over just not the dog. She is too funny and Stockden is too crazy. I am still convinced that Jose was suppose to be watching him. Ha ha!!!

All I Want For Easter is My 2 Front Teeth

Staelie has lost another tooth. My word. She had to wait forever to finally lose the 1st one and then after that one came out they all want to come out. I think she still has 4 more teeth that are loose. Crazy girl. She was so excited for it to come out. It did have to have my help again but that's OK. She is now missing her 2 front teeth. Too bad it is not Christmas time. Sorry for the bad jokes this is what happens when it is after 3 in the morning and I should be working.

Staelie looks so cute. We took some pictures after it came out and she is trying so hard to show the missing tooth. I love her she is too funny. We did tell her that she was not allowed to wash it this time. We also told her that the tooth fairy gives you one free pass of losing your tooth but probably wouldn't be so nice the second time. She put it in a bag but still had such a hard time leaving it alone. Hopefully the tooth fairy will pay her a visit
