Jentrie Birthday Party

Today was Jentries friend birthday party. We celebrated at the Cedar City Aquatic Center. We all had such a great time. Jentrie has some super cute friends. They were so fun and silly. The kids were able to swim, decorate their own cupcakes with candy and sprinkles. We had ice cream and pizza too. They opened presents, got their goodie bags and swam some more. Jentries Uncle Andres, cousins Tristen, Jose and Lane were able to come and we were so glad to see them. Jentries friends McKenna, Alyssa, Mari, Deonna, Darissa, McKayla, Esther and Destiny were able to come. Thank you girls for making it a great party. Jentries friends gave her some really great gifts that were just what she loves. Her Uncle Andres got her a BB gun. Oh no I hope we are not taking a lot of trips to the ER. I spend enough time there while working. Please be warned this post has a ton of pictures!!!

Oh My Word Guess Who's 2 Hands Old!!!!

Happy 10th Birthday Jentrie!!!!



My little Jentrie is now 2 hands old. Oh my word I am not sure when this happened. On May 16, 2001 we welcomed this beautiful little girl to our family and life had not slowed down since. She has been on the go since she first came. I was in labor I mean induced and delivered in 2 hours and 13 min. She couldn't wait to get here. She crawled at 4 months and walked at 8 months. She has always wanted to see what was going on around her. She is one the the sweetest people there are. She is so worried when someone is hurt. She was playing soccer one year and a friend on her team got hurt. Jentrie was a defender and the friend was a forward. She takes off running up the field to give her a hug and make sure she was OK. She loves to work with her hands and has an amazing talent this way. She took apart my back door the other day to see if she could and she could. Got it apart and put back together. The bathroom sink was clogged so she took it apart unclogged it and put it back together. She has been on the honor roll at school all year and works so hard. She loves to do well in school. She asked me yesterday to write a note to her teacher asking to be moved because the kid next to her wont stop talking to her and she cant concentrate on her work. As I have said before she LOVES baseball. She has an amazing talent at gymnastics. McKall was trying to do the splits about 5 years ago and wasn't quite there. Jentrie decided she wanted to try and slide right down in them and can do all 3 Left Right and Center. She loves to be outside. She loves to get dirty but wants her hair done and to look cute while she does it. She loves to have her hair done and loves for me to try different hairstyles. She loves with her whole heart and forgives at a drop of a hat. She is non drama. She doesn't seem to get caught up in all of it like McKall does. She says what she needs to and that is it. She is a wonderful sister and a great friend. I am so glad she is in our family. Happy Birthday Jentrie I love you!!!!

On Monday the 16th Jentries birthday we kept it pretty low key and being the mom of the year that I am I forgot to take pictures. We had cupcakes for breakfast, took donuts to school and had one of her favorites Cafe Rio for dinner. Staelie had her first baseball game so we ate at the ball fields in the car because it was so cold. Jentries friend Destiny came with us. She got some new shoes and a new BMX bike for her birthday. The bike is orange and brown just like she wanted. She is so funny no pink bike for her! She has her friend party at the pool on Saturday so I will remember to get pictures.

Happy Birthday Jentrie (a day early)

   On Sunday the 15th we celebrated Jentries Birthday with my family. It was 3rd Sunday dinner at my grandmas  so my family was headed this way anyway. We headed over to Grandmas for dinner and then came back to my house for cake ice cream and presents. Kati actually had to drop her gift off before dinner since we were not sure if it would still be alive after being left in the car during dinner. Kati got Jentrie a fish and bowl. Jentrie has wanted a fish forever so thank you Kati. Kati's friend Justin was so awesome and sacrificed his pants to hold the fish bowl all the way to Cedar. Thank you Justin. My parents got Jentrie the biggest pillow pet I have ever seen and she loves it. My other sister Ashlee got her a Nerf gun that she just loves. I am not sure who loves it more my dad or Jentrie. Those two had such a great time shooting all of us with it. Jose and I waited to give her our gift until her real birthday so she would have something. Thank you all for coming. Also my sister Kacee and her husband Sam were not able to come since it was Sam's birthday. Happy Birthday Sam I hope you had an amazing day. Thank you for being such a wonderful Uncle to my kids a great brother in law and taking such good care of my sister. Love you and am so glad you are in our family!!!!                                      



Dance Review 2011

On May 12th was McKall and Jentries night to shine at their Spring Dance Review!! Let me tell you they sure did shine. They both were fantastic. It was so fun to watch them perform. McKall danced to 4 dances and Jentrie danced to 3. McKalls hip hop dance is her favorite and she sure gets into it. Its so amazing to watch her be able to dance like that. McKall seems to have a little bit of street dancer in her.I don't know where she gets it I have no dancing ability. Jentrie shocked me a little bit with her dancing. She does not like it and said to me oh grandmas coming that means I have to do my best right. Her best she did and she is amazing. When I told Jeanine that Jentrie was not dancing next year she was so sad. She just kept saying but she is so good. When she performed at the review I saw just what she was talking about. Her turns are so tight and kicks are straight up. She looked great. I told her after her 1st dance how great I thought she did and she says I am still not dancing. Too funny. McKall came out after watching Jentrie and was like mom she is good. They both did their best and the whole studio looked wonderful.

My other sister Ashlee was not able to make it because it was her kindergarten program. Missed you Ash sorry we missed your big night.
